About our vanilla

Where does your vanilla come from?

• Our vanilla comes from small-scale plantations in Uganda. We work directly with local farmers and choose fair trade and sustainable production.

Is the vanilla organic?

• Yes, our vanilla is pure and free from additives. It is grown with respect for people and nature.

What makes Ugandan vanilla special?

• Ugandan vanilla is known for its deep, spicy, and complex aroma. It is slightly stronger and warmer in flavor than Madagascar vanilla, giving a unique touch to every dish.

How many vanilla pods are there in a package?

• That depends on the packaging you choose (e.g., 5, 10, or 50 sticks). The weight can vary, but on average a stick weighs 3–5 grams.

How do I use vanilla in the kitchen?

• Cut the pods open lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. You can use these immediately in desserts, ice cream, pastries, or even savory dishes. You can cook the pods in milk, cream, or sauces for extra flavor.

How long can I keep the vanilla?

• Up to 2 years, provided it is well sealed in an airtight package and stored cool and dry.

Can I get an invoice?

• Yes, companies and self-employed individuals automatically receive an invoice with their order.

Are the prices inclusive of VAT?

• Yes, all prices in our webshop are inclusive of VAT.

Shipping & Delivery

What are the shipping costs?

• Within Belgium: free shipping from €29.99. For the Netherlands and the rest of Europe, adjusted rates apply (see shipping info).

How quickly will my order be delivered?

• Within 2–3 working days in Belgium. For the Netherlands and other EU countries, this usually takes 3–7 working days.

Can I track my order?

• Yes, as soon as your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking link via email.

Return & Warranty

Can I return my order?

• Food products cannot be returned due to food safety reasons. Only unopened, sealed products can be returned within 14 days of receipt (right of withdrawal).

What if my order is damaged or delivered incorrectly?​

• Contact us within 48 hours of delivery via lpvanilledeluxe@gmail.com. We will jointly find a suitable solution (new delivery or refund).

Do you also deliver to hospitality businesses and bakeries?

• Yes, we also offer larger quantities and create custom quotations. Contact us via [contact page] for more information.

Can hobby cooks also order from you?

• Absolutely! Our vanilla is for everyone who wants to enjoy real flavor.

Usage & Tips

How do I use vanilla pods?

• Cut the pod open lengthwise, scrape out the seeds and add them to your dish. Let the empty pod cook along for extra flavor.

Can I reuse the pods?

• Yes! Rinse the used pod, let it dry, and put it in a jar of sugar → that's how you make vanilla sugar yourself.
